So more signs that will precede it are: 1. The turning away from God, which is happening now and has been going on for some time now here in America(which was the last stand for Godliness). 2. The Antichrist will appear. This does not mean identified, but may be as simple as being born. Identification comes later in Revelation chapter 13. Also there will be another turning away after the Rapture during the tribulation period. The one we are experiencing now has been slower coming and forming over the last 40 years or so. The one that occurs after the Rapture will be more clear cut and bring more and worse disaster. False teachers will come, have always been and are here now among us. 2 Peter 2:1-2, Matthew 24:24 reads: “False Christs and false prophets will come and perform great wonders and miracles. They will try to fool even the people God has chosen, if that is possible”. Matthew 24:10-12: “At that time, many will lose their faith, and they will turn against each other and hate each other.11 Many false prophets will come and cause many people to believe lies.12 There will be more and more evil in the world, so most people will stop showing their love for each other”. 1 Thess 5:3&4: While people are saying, "We have peace and we are safe," they will be destroyed quickly. It is like pains that come quickly to a woman having a baby. Those people will not escape.4 but you, brothers and sisters, are not living in darkness, and so that day will not surprise you like a thief.” Luke 21:28:”When these things begin to happen, look up and hold your heads high, because the time when God will free you is near!" Luke 21:34-36 also reads: 34 "Be careful not to spend your time feasting, drinking, or worrying about worldly things. If you do, that day might come on you suddenly, 35 like a trap on all people on earth. 36 So be ready all the time. Pray that you will be strong enough to escape all these things that will happen and that you will be able to stand before the Son of Man."Revelation 3:10: “You have obeyed my teaching about not giving up your faith. So I will keep you from the time of trouble that will come to the whole world to test those who live on earth. 11. "I am coming soon. Continue strong in your faith so no one will take away your crown”. Continued on page 4........ |
