| How cute is a puppy? If your a cat lover how cute is a kitten? How intricate is a Sea anemone or the detail of a flower? How deep and how far is the universe when mere man can't even get to Pluto? How fast, powerful and energetic is lightning? How forceful is a tidal wave? How powerful yet gentle at the same time is an elephant? How high are the stars?How bright is the sun? How hot is the molten lava in the center of the earth and how cold is it at the ends of the earth like Antarctica or on Pluto? How delicate and white is a snowflake and how black is night or the blackness of coal? How tasty is a cold glass of milk along side a delicious piece of chocolate cake? How lovely and soothing is the smell of roses or the lilacs that seem to bring a peace when they are inhaled? How peaceful is the sound of a babbling brook with it's rushing waters over the sands of time? How lovely is your wife or kids? How fast is light and how still is darkness? How powerful is something as small as an atom yet at the same time so small it can't even be seen unless it magnified. How powerful is the wind or gravity but we can't even see it? How incredibly unlike us and in control is a God who sent his son Jesus from the wonders and splendor of heaven to serve evil mankind? He could have called 10,000 angels but instead died alone. How could a God so powerful and all knowing take slaps in the face, mockery and ultimate torture when at anytime he could have reduced any one of his detractors or even us to rubble with the command of his voice. Imagine a love so powerful, so complete, so perfect, that it loves in all situations, when it's threatened, made fun of and discarded like it's common trash. Imagine a God who allowed his own creation which he always had under his control kill his own son to ultimately save the entire human race fro those who would believe that his ways are higher than ours. How great is our God? |
