Are you a Real Christian?

Wars and rumors of wars, riots and uprisings.  In various places there will be great earthquakes, sicknesses, and a lack of food.  Fearful events and great signs will come from heaven.

Are these headlines, or prophecies being fulfilled from ancient writings?  The reality is, they are the words of Jesus from Luke 21: 9-11 when he was speaking of the things that would be happening right before his return.  How did Jesus know what would be happening 2000 years later?  Well not only was he the greatest prophet ever, but he is also causing these things to happen both directly and indirectly through a number of channels.

As God, Jesus uses both good and evil to serve his purposes and to judge sin. Why are there so many troubles right now?  Because of what 2 Tim 3:1-2 proclaims:  "Remember this! In the last days there will be many troubles,² because people will love themselves, love money, brag, and be proud"....

But what's next and what if anything can we do to prepare for it?  What's next is, Jesus will do what he said he would do, when all these things would start to increase in intensity, acceleration and convergence in Luke 21:27.  This is in fact part of the blessed hope:  "At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory"

But what we can do to prepare for his coming, is also found in Luke 21:36: "Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man."

Murder and mayhem is on the rise in our cities everywhere.  We see changes in weather patterns, natural disasters increasing in number and intensity, signs in the heavens, and increased interest in the occult.  These are just a few things unfolding right before us.  
 
Jesus is just about to set things right when he comes back as conquering king.  He came the first time as a meek and mild lamb to die for the sins of the world, but the second time will be totally different.  There are two phases to his second and final coming.  The first phase which is partially described in(Matthew 24:29-31, Rev.6:12-17 & 7:13-17), is almost upon us now and will first be realized when he is seen in the sky by everyone on the earth.  This event which is also known as the Rapture, will not be a secret at all. 

He will take a large group of people from the earth who are waiting and looking for him into the air to be with him, while the people of earth are tested for one final period of very great tribulation and distress.  Phase two is where Jesus will come back seven to eight years later at the physical second coming(Rev. 19), to avenge the innocent, destroy all who are against him and to set up his earthly kingdom of peace and love, where he will reign on the earth with real peace for the last 1000 years, before a new earth and heaven are made and time is done away with.

More proof of His soon return is being seen everywhere and was prophesied in both Matt chapter 24 and Luke chapter 21.  So called "global warming or climate change", wars and rumors of wars while proclaiming peace, increase and intensity of earthquakes and other natural disasters, animal attacks, people turning their backs on truth in droves and going their own way, false teachers preaching unsound and unbalanced doctrine, fake Christians everywhere, uprisings and protests on the increase...the list goes on.

We are the generation that will see the end of all things.  Jesus said in Luke 21:28:  "When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near".  The question is, will we be ready?  There is not one more prophetic event that has to be fulfilled before the Rapture occurs.  In fact all of them have not only occurred already, but some are ongoing now and will be right up to his soon sighting in the clouds.

Some traditional Pre-tribulation teachings have left some holes in end times prophecy, as well as taught some things that are more opinion based, than scriptural. One such teaching is, that the Rapture event will be 'a secret' event, based on not connecting the proper scriptures with the proper events. The fact is, it won't be a secret at all.  So we have filled these holes, and corrected some mis-conceptions here.  We here at RealChristian.net are staunchly Pre-tribulation Rapture, but with a lot more scriptural detail and explanation on why it is the correct biblical position to adhere to.  

Also knowing where we are now on the biblical time line of end time events, and how many Revelatory seals have already been broken, is paramount in this understanding.  Just because we believe we are already deep into Revelation, does not mean the last great tribulation period has started yet.  However, it is very close to starting now; with Jesus just about to collect his ready followers.

Right now in the UN, plans are being made to force Israel to give up half the capital of Jerusalem soon.  Why is this a problem?  Because God will not let it happen without first forcing his hand with wrath, in a more concentrated way in which God will signal Jesus to eventually break the sixth seal(Rev 6:12).

His anger is about to be kindled even more because the land he has promised the Jews called Israel is about to be divided up again even further than it already is. 

We can be sure of one thing.  Everything we see now in the world is coming to a head and that head is Jesus.  Things unfortunately will get worse before they get better and what we need to do is pray harder than ever before!

So all are welcome in the kingdom of God, but unfortunately not everyone will make it.  The Bible says relatively few will find and STAY ON the hard narrow road to life and many more will instead choose the broad highway that leads to destruction.
