| Let’s look at the original Greek and see that this rider is not just conquering but ultimately will overcome something. (Greek/English Interlinear (tr) NT) Revelation 6:2: 2 kai <2532> {AND} eidon <1492> (5627) {I SAW,} kai <2532> {AND} idou <2400> (5628) {BEHOLD,} ippoV <2462> {A HORSE} leukoV <3022> {WHITE,} kai <2532> {AND} o <3588> {HE} kaqhmenoV <2521> (5740) {SITTING} ep <1909> {ON} autw <846> {IT} ecwn <2192> (5723) {HAVING} toxon <5115> {A BOW;} kai <2532> {AND} edoqh <1325> (5681) {WAS GIVEN} autw <846> {TO HIM} stefanoV <4735> {A CROWN,} kai <2532> {AND} exhlqen <1831> (5627) {HE WENT FORTH} nikwn <3528> (5723) {OVERCOMING} kai <2532> {AND} ina <2443> {THAT} nikhsh <3528> (5661) {HE MIGHT OVERCOME.} It is important to go back to the original sometimes when we need more clarity. The Antichrist does not overcome anything. Only Jesus will accomplish this and in fact already has. Who is this first rider? Certainly not the Antichrist! Jesus already won the victory at Calvary and has been in charge from the foundation of the world. Jesus is the ultimate overcomer, not the Antichrist. It is obvious that this first rider is in charge of everything else going on after the fact and he is an agent of good not evil. Rev 6:3-4 reads: “When the Lamb opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, "Come!". Then another horse came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make men slay each other. To him was given a large sword”. The pre-wrathministry.org say about this scripture: "The second seal is a rider on a fiery red horse and its rider was given power to take peace from the earth. This seal symbolizes war". This is a no brainer, but it’s interesting to note here that they do not say that this rider does not deserve the power he is given as they said about the first rider. But why do they not talk about the wars that have already occurred and are still ongoing? You would almost think that there are only wars in the future to be fought and there has been peace the last 2000 years. But has there been? The facts are amazing. Look at the following information and you will see it would be hard to tell when this seal was to be broken in the future: Only 80 documented wars were fought from 999 B.C. to 0 and another 80 were fought in between 0 to 1000 A.D. But look at the dramatic increase since 1000 A.D. up until today. 80 more were fought in just 400 years from 1000 to 1400 A.D. 93 wars were fought in just 200 years in between 1400 and 1600. Notice a pattern yet? 73 wars in just one hundred years from 1600-1700. 70 were fought from 1700-1800 but world wars started increasing here as well where wars are now starting to include multiple nations involved in bigger wars. Look at the next dramatic jump: 295 wars were fought from 1800-1900! Over 300 wars were fought in between 1900 and 2000 including WW1 and WW2. In just seven years in between 2003 and 2010 there have been 48 more and today there are 26 current ongoing wars somewhere in the world. This is staggering and these statistics can be found at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_wars Continued on Page 4......... |
